Three Weeks Left
Last week was was my final exam for Calculus two, which means we have three more weeks left of school. It's crazy how fast this semester is coming to an end so soon. After Spring break was over, I felt like every class was three times longer than it was. After taking the third exam for calculus two it has reminded me that I only have three weeks left to relearn everything that I have been doing this whole semester in order to do well on my final. In total for this semester, I have three finals. I have one for History 2600, Computer programming 1500, and Calculus two 1420. I'm not to worried about my computer programming or history because I'm doing very well in both class and the exams are not as hard compared to calculus two. I would study for an hour for each exam in computer programming and history and I always got a B or an A. However, that was not the case for calculus two. I studied for at least seven hours and for the first and second exam I got a C. For the third exam, I studied for ten hours and I felt pretty good about how I did on it. Hopefully when I get my third exam back, I will get some good news. Besides that, the only class that I don't have to take an exam is for English 1007. The closest thing we have to an exam is our third essay. Now with three weeks left, I have to stay on track of homework and find some time to study for all of my exams.

The semester is almost over
It's crazy to think that this semester is almost over and that it will end in May. With summer coming soon, it made me think of what I will be doing. I was tempted of taking the summer off and relax but I also really would like to graduate in three years. The reason why I want to finish earlier is because I want to be a high school math teacher and in order to be one, I have to be in the teacher credential program. Which will take me another year to complete. However, I'm going to go to Modesto Jr. college because I can get some of my general education out of the way and focus mainly on my major at Stanislaus. Another reason I'm going to Modesto Jr. College is because it is way cheaper compared to the summer courses at Stanislaus. Taking twelve units at Stanislaus would cost nine-thousand dollars and going to Modesto Jr. college would only cost six hundred dollars. So I already applied to Modesto Jr. college and I couldn't believe it but I was accepted within minutes. They also made me take an online orientation which said it would probably take me an hour and a half to complete but I finished it in fifteen minutes. I have looked at there schedule of when the classes begin and they start on May 7th and that wouldn't work out with my schedule with all my finals at Stanislaus. However, they also have a late start for some classes, which means that the classes begin later through the summer. I believe they start in the beginning of June, so that would be perfect. Hopefully I will have a great time stressing myself out with twelve units.

Motivation
This past week I have felt like I had no energy or determination to keep on working as hard as I usually do. Of course it doesn’t mean I should stop doing any of my homework but I have been just getting done with assignments to get the full points. In my history class I just couldn’t stand listening to another lecture. That’s the only thing we do in that class and it’s pointless because there’s no point of going to that class when I can read five weeks of his power points that he posts online and look at it all in an hour and a half. His exams are based on the power points and I don’t pay as much attention to his lectures and just study by looking at the power points and I still get a B. Sometimes I feel like there are no points of having to go to classes where I can learn a few things that will not even benefit me for my major or career. I know some of the classes that I go to for my general education will help me such as English. Besides that, maybe I’m just not feeling as motivated with this semester almost being over. I just need to complete this lab for calculus two and then I’m done with the class and then I don’t have to be at school for another three or four hours every Wednesday. But hopefully within a few days I will be back to my normal self and have that drive to actually try my best in my classes. I would also like to say congrats to Mr. Hall for having another child. :-D

Spring Break
Spring Break was amazing but it felt that it has ended way to soon. I feel like I can go another ten days off of school. My plans were to work on my homework first and try to study for calculus because this new chapter doesn't make any sense. My mom also told me that I had to take out the grass with the rototiller and put rocks all over. However, nothing went as plan. It was until Wednesday that I actually started working on my homework and the other days before Wednesday I was just relaxing. My mom surprised me of calling in sick for work and we went to watch "Ready Player One." I loved the movie, it had a lot of action and it had a great story. I would like to talk more about it but I don't want to spoil anything for those who haven't seen it. My mom said she would bring the rototiller from my grandpa's house but she never brought it, so I never had to take out the grass. Which I was glad about because it gave me a lot more time to relax. Spring Break is a little vacation from school after dealing with so much stress from midterms. I honestly needed a break from everything just to clear my mind and get ready to go back to school. I'm going to miss staying up till three a.m and waking up at ten a.m. I hope you all had a great Spring Break but now it's time to get back to work.
